DH and I took the tour last week during our trip. We wanted to think things over, still are thinking about membership, and I'm wondering if someone can answer a question for me. We have air fare vouchers we have to use before 9/25. If we flew down for a long weekend and signed papers then and there, would we be eligible for Magical Beginnings benefits or are those only available to first-timers? If we wouldn't get those benefits, I'll keep the vouchers until after we buy (OOOPS, I mean IF we buy ) and take a long weekend at 'home'.

Hi, DW and I are still contemplating on whether to go with a resale or with VWL and take advantage of the MB program. As our Guide explained to us, the program is available to anyone who purchases more than 100 pts regardless of whether you purchase on site or thru the mail. I think there is a lower threshold for MB at VB like 50 pts or so (not sure on that one). With the MB Disney will buy back 1/2 of your 1st years points at $10/pt (up to $2000), this reduces your cost per point at VWL to $67.
