People who are interested in a topic but haven't yet seen the information they are looking for will post "bump" as everytime a thread is posted on, it is bumped up to the top, just below the "sticky" threads.

Did I read something about free dining package when booking a magical beginnings trip?

We leave in the morning and I was hoping to have a first hand report. I still am getting conflicting advice on the ages!! Anyone know?

bump.......we arrive on Thursday and are hoping that our 2 year old will beneit from this extra hour (and that we won't be waiting in line with families with older children). Any more info?

Bumpiddy bump bump...
We were also planning on using MB on Sept. 1st in MK...and I only have a 13yo DS, so really want to know if there will be any problems getting in or on the rides.

Dawna 521, That is what I want to find out too. Is this open to all resort guests and just marketed towards pre-schoolers? I keep waiting for some first hand reports. I am an early riser and well... ...Fantasyland is my favorite. Although some people seem a little hostile about the prospect that Disney might let all resort guests in reagrdless of whether you have a child under 5 or not.

I just can't imagine them turning us away just because I have a 13yo. What if I get in, and a CM gives me a hard time: I'll just tell them my husband is coming soon with my 4yo (it's a lie, but who cares? 1. I don't have a husband, and 2. I don't have a 4yo). Then if I go on a ride, and the CMs harrass me, I'll tell them my "husband" is on another ride w/my "4yo"! :rotfl: It would seem to me there won't be any problems, since we are paying resort guests who just happen to be at the resort during their MB promotion; we should be able to enjoy the MB EMH, just like any other paying guest, regardless of the age of our children, or regardless of if we even have any children. ANY paying resort guest should be able to utilize their EMH's.

I am interested in hearing what others have encountered, though, and if there were any problems.

I am thinking you are right and that WDW will be letting all resort guests in during the MB EMH. Even though I have two little ones that should benefit from this early morning MB EMH, we are not planning to attend. I am interested in hearing some first hand reports though. If it is somehow on the off chance restricted to guests with young children, I would love it and attend in a heartbeat. However, I fear that there are too many guest who think like dawna & zuzu and will take advantage of the early opening (which defeats the purpose of the Magical Beginings IMO) :sad2: Since only Fantasyland that is open, I think the lines will be longer than on a regular morning EMH day where Tomarrowland is open too. I think I will be taking my chances on a regular park opening or morning EMH day.

ETA: I don't mean to sound hostile towards any guests that don't have small children for attending if WDW allows it. Of course you are a paying resort guest and entitled and want to go, then enjoy. I just don't think this early morning opening is going to be a 'perk' for families with small children as Disney is promoting it to be...

I have also read some people quite hostile towards the idea of people with no kids or people with only kids going to magical beginnings. I do wonder how people on lines might react towards people w/out little kids.

I believe the idea is preschoolers tend to still need naps and tend not to stay out late and people without preschoolers "tend" to have more hours to be able to be at the park.

I agree with Lisa that if anyone can go, if sort of defeats the purpose of "Magical Beginnings", but it if is open to everyone, then I can understand others wanting to take advantage also.

I am also worried about the lines since Fantasyland is the only place open. We are only at WDW for two full days and one is a magical beginning and one a EMH am day, so we are stuck with whatever crowds are there.

My kids will be back in the room everyday between 1 & 2pm for naps. They will also be back in the room after dinner for bedtime between 7 & 8 pm other than the two nights we are letting them stay up for Spectro/Wishes & MNSSHP. We definately have less hours in the parks than others but that is the way life is with little ones. The early morning MB opening would definately be helpful to us if it is not overcrowded with resort guests. I am definately looking forward to peoples actual experience with the MB EMH.
