magical beginnings question

We took a tour last week and were told that the magical beginnings promotion would only apply if we signed within 3 days of our tour? The guide we had seemed very rushed and didn't even walk us out of BWV - (she pointed us the way)? I don't know what the problem was, but she was rude!! We were interested and asked questions but we were not ready to sign that night! She did not offer us any "perks" for taking the tour either. We are thinking about purchasing DVC but we do not want this person to get credit for our purchase! We tried to ask other DVC salespeople in the DVC stands in the resorts about if magical beginnings was only applicable for 3 days from your tour - but they kept referring us back to the person we spoke with!! Any help would be appreciated!! Also, how do we speak with someone else about purchasing DVC?

As far as I know, that is definetly not true. MB is available for people calling in as I have referred people. My guide is terrific and I am sure if you tell her what happened would be happy to take you on as a client (you are allowed to switch guides. Try Diane Henry 800-827-4650.

I just got a new guide assigned to me and he is extremely nice. He called to introduce himself and ask if I might be interested in additional points at BW. We talked for quite a while and he was interested in our trips to DVC and how we liked the resort. His name is Ricardo Flores. He must be new to DVC. So he would be very accomodating to you if you switched to him. Good luck!

That's definitely not true because we just signed last month and it took us a year to buy from the time we took that tour. I definitely took advantage of MB when we signed last month.

I wholeheartly recommend my guide Randy Kruger. He is an original and knows everything about DVC. I am sure if you called him he would answer all your questions and wouldn't expect you to necessarily buy from him. I've bought over 1100 pts from him since 1992 in BCV,BWV, OKW and VB. I just got done with the Vero thing. I got it with magical beginnings and the whole thing was done in a couple of hours. I have been booking a beach cottage a day at a time for Spring Vacation next year and Randy helped me get squared away quickly so I could do this.

I know you are new, and I too get very frustrated when I am given the wrong info, but I would try Randy and tell him Marylyn Carlyle says hello.

The only offer I'm aware of that's been limited based on when you contact or tour is the interest rates and I think it is (or at least was) 30 days from touring and they did hold to it.

The DVC website says about MB (although it doesn't use it by name) that you should "act now because it won't last forever".

That being said it also said that in February when we signed up so I'm sure if it was only for 3 more days they would say that.

The key to this whole deal is BWV. These were new points that were just made available so maybe they are doing this a little different. When you get a different guide maybe you should ask them.

Mine was Gib McCain and he was fine but I was probably the easiest sale he ever had. I bought BCV on a day we had 20 inches of snow in NJ!!!!!
