:cool1: I just received my entrance tickets and I was surprised that they were paper? How do they hold up over the seven days that you are using them? :woohoo:

They're not paper. It's a special plasticized paper including a product called Tyvek. They're a lot more durable than traditional plastic credit-card type tickets (because they don't break when you bend them).

We put ours in our fanny pack, we don't carry them in a pocket and some of ours are 5 years old and have been on 3 trips. They will make one more because they were hoppers and I have non hoppers that I use on days when I know we are not hopping.

I used mine for 4 days 2 yrs ago. I just put them in a zip lock baggie and put them in my pocket. They were fine for the whole trip.

Like the house wrap? Cool! When I'm done, I can use them to insulate our house! If I get enough tickets, I can add enough house wrap to lower our heating bill, and save up more money to buy more tickets...

Another thing to point out- many people have their tickets transferred to their Key to the World card (room key) when they get to WDW.

Tickets will be replaced free of charge if they become mutilated so long as either the printing on the back or the magnetic stripe is still readable. Should the printing start to wear off, get the ticket replaced.

Tyvek(r) is a controlled moisture permeable film that gradually allows moisture that gets by the moisture barrier just inside the sheetrock and that condensed just inside the siding during the winter to escape to the exterior of the house on warmer dry days. By itself it has miniscule heat insulation properties. Built into a ticket Tyvek offers neither the desired moisture permeability nor heat retention.

Check out your local walmart in the jewlery/travel luggage tag section. I got a lanyard with a plastic ziplock clear pocket for 0.97c :cool1: , the pocket is bigger than CC size, I was gonna get 4- one for each of us, but they only had 1 left :confused3 - since I'm the mom, I'll be carrying everything including the tickets :rotfl: so 1 lanyard is perfect! It only comes in black.
Good Luck!

I have a question about the "finger reader" at the gate. What are they checking, and how do they know if you use someone else's ticket. I am going to WDW in December and dh is not. He has more unused days on his ticket than I do, and I would really like to use his, and not have to buy another ticket. How could I get away with it?

Each guest must purchase their own ticket. Tickets cannot be transferred between guests. The biometric scanners that measure your finger structure helps ensure this.

Our AP's are the same, no problem so far.
