Magic Your Way tickets vs daily tickets

So I'm about to book a WDW package for the first time which will include tickets for 6 days. I believe they call them Magic Your Way tickets, but then I see talk about the price of tickets rising and I noticed that there is a difference in price between MK tickets and the other parks. So I'm wondering when I book the package do I have to decide how many days we are going to go to MK? I haven't yet decided how I want to divide up the days. Or because I'm booking a package, they average out the price and I can decide later? If that's the case, when and how do you specify what park your going to what day (we're not getting park hoppers)?

MK-only (MK-ONLY) are one-day only tickets and have been a different higher price for several years, now.

Virtually no resort package tickets are one-day only.
You do not need to decide which parks... period.
(And, with multi-day tickets you COULD even ONLY go to MK every single day...
no difference in price.)
