Magic Your Way Dining Question

My son is now 10 so we will have to get him the $35 plan. My problem is that sometimes he is not going to want to eay anything off the adult menu and we will order off the childs menu for him and pay for that seperately.

BUT, and here is the question.. can I use that meal that he didnt eat but has been paid for, for another member of our party at another time? I am wondering how they "check-off" your meals. Do you have a card that they make sure the right person is using it or do they use some other method and not care who uses it because its been paid for? Im not trying to cheat, because everything has been paid for, I just dont want to waste a meal if hes not going to eat it.

Meals are not assigned to any particular guest (except maybe if there is a special kid rate). They are all pooled onto your rooms account.

You could buy dinner for the table next to you if you'd like.

Just let your server know that the adult entrees will be on the dining plan and you will pay seperately for the kids menu item. Then use one of his meals later on yourself

Just to clarify that ALL meals, adult and children's, are pooled into the same account. Makes no difference to the server whom you use your credit for. Just returned, and we often paid for a kid's meal out of pocket and used the meal credit at another time.

The only hiccup we had was with an infant at buffet's. They counted him as an "under 3 meal" with a charge of $0, but they way they coded it, it used a meal credit. I just took the receipts to the hotel desk and everything was fixed.

MYW meal plan package is dining plan which includes 1 table service, 1 counter service, and 1 snack coupon per day per person staying at a disney resort. It cost $35 a day per person 10 and over, and $10 a day ages 3-9.
It must be purchased for everyone in the party.
We only used one card at the meals and everyone was taken care of from the same card. They don't keep track of kids vs. adult meals.
It is also a ton of food. We left and still had one counter service meal left that we didn't use :earboy2:

Have fun picking you PS's :goodvibes

Here's a link for the dining :mickeybar

Thanks for the tip! I am worried about this happening to us. We have a big 1 year-old that like to eat. :mickeybar
