Magic Way Express

I purchased a MWE package and am staying at AKL. We are renting a car, so we don't need to use MWE. Now when I got my travel docs I did not see any special docs about MWE. I thought OK no big deal as I am not using it, but then I got thinking. I want to make sure my luggage doesn't go MWE. Is there anything I should or should not do?

PS Also I got complimentary Disney Luggage tags, but I am afraid to use them as they might be deemed MWE.

The only way that ME (Magical Express) will take your luggage is if you put the Yellow luggage tags on them. The regular disney luggage tags are not connected to ME.

I have yet to use the service but I dont' think you have anything to worry about. We are signed up for MWE and we got another pack of info and in it were bright yellow tags we are to put on our luggage. They are what designates luggage for MWE not the free ones that came with your package.

Remember, not everyone that flies to Orlando is going to Disney world.

DO NOT USE THE LUGGAGE TAGS The tags are computer coded for Magic Express with your hotel info on them. Thats the way Disney and the airport id magic express bags to get them to the resort.

Im guessing you should notify Disney that you will not be using the service as a courtesy, i would

PS ZAS is right, the magic express luggage tages are yellow, I was assuming thats what you were talking about

You're fine. The tages that are used for Magical Express are big destination sticker tags (like the ones the airlines put on) and they have the name of your resort on them. You have to set up your flight info with ME and put the stickers on. It is a (at least) two step process. Don't worry, you will get your bags and you can use the regular luggage tags they sent.

Do you mean a Magic Your Way package ? The packages are not called MWE (to my knowledge).

If you have or will be using ME, you should have gotten yellow tags to put on your suitcase (they were yellow for us the past 3 trips). The tags have a code on them for your hotel.
The luggage tags have nothing to do with ME.
