Magic Passengers Please Help

We are desparately trying to find out any information about a server. His name is Depak and he is from India. We are very concerned about him and his family. If anyone could please find out if he is still on the ship it would be greatly appreciated. And if you could please ask him how he, Elcy, and Dilip are doing. Tell him Gene and Joan are concerned. We tried to contact them and have yet to receive any response.

We had Deepak from India as our server on our trip in Dec 2004. I'm not sure if he is still there though. I didn't ask him if he was due to go on vacation soon.

We had Depak last year and I know he said he would be there for our next cruise which is April 30th and after that he was going home and wouldn't be on the repo cruise to Calif.

CM are not supposed to fratenize with passengers. Maybe you should just stop trying to get a hold of them for their own sake.

My intention is not to get anyone into trouble. I hardly consider being concerned about someone's safety and well being as fraternizing. With everything that is going on near his homeland I was a little worried. We have taken a few Disney cruises and have requested Depak as our server in the past. He is such a nice person and a definite benefit to the Disney Cruise staff. I was simply taking a chance that someone may be able to say hello and that we are thinking of him. If that in any way would get him into trouble please forget about it.

Thats not very nice. The OP was concerned for a person whose home country has just been devastated. I think it was nice of them to think of him, and his familys' safety.

We also have had Deepak for our cruises and were very concerned about his well being in light of recent events. There is nothing wrong with someone being concerned about another's welfare. Joan, thanks for your post and if you find out any info would you please PM me?

Well, we just got back and we had Deepak and Maria as our server and asst. server.

He is fine! Although I don't know about his family, he is still onboard. I am sure that he would appreciate knowing that you cared.

I was telling Maria that we post our server's names on this board if we like or dislike them. She said that she checked, but did not see anything about them, so I am going to start a post about servers and perhaps she will read it and pass along your concerns.

Deepak and Maria were both wonderful and we had a great time!

We had a Deepak back in 2002....is this the same server as in my pic below...if it is we loved him!!! His assitant then was Gede...

Aprilgail2 - If you get a chance I would appreciate it if you could let Depak know that Gene & Joan are thinking about him. And ask him to say hey to Elcy and Dilip. Our next cruise isn't until the May Repo so we will unfortunately miss him. Thanks and have a magical cruise!!!
