Okay, I only put that because tonight was seventies night. What fun! Our day at sea was melancholy, the kids graduated (yeah - we can finally redecorate their rooms) and the Disney Dreams show was everything I'd heard and more. My husband started a standing ovation - he's a sucker for that stuff. Loved watching the kids dance on stage in Studio Sea for the dance party, and it was cool having my husband and daughter do the game show "So You Think You Know Your Family?" They did great! More memories...
Today, I almost forgot - we did Palo Brunch. I thought it was better than the dinner, but my husband like dinner more. He's not really into the binge/purge thing (just kidding, me neither), but how do people combine breakfast AND lunch? Our server was the English man (sorry, forget his name!). My husband referred to him as the "low talker" (ala Seinfeld) because he could never hear him! The man did whisper, I swear. Anyway, it was great food. Loved the asparagus wrapped with proscuitto.
Aah, on to ... Castaway Cay! Now, at the risk of a public hanging, let me say this: yes, it's beautiful. However (I'm ducking now) we have a place in Cape May, which is admittedly gorgeous, and I sort of thought the beach was too crowded. More like the Jersey shore on 4th of July, which I avoid like the plague. More on this in my next installment ...
