Magic my way dining plan

I've been reading through this thread and gained a lot of info, thanks. Just wondering though can I book the dining plan for just 7 nights out of our 10 night stay? I can understand Disney not offering it for *more* than your resort stay but I can't understand them not offering it for less if that makes sense. Would I have to make 2 bookings, one a 7 night MYW package with dining and the other just room only for 3 nights? confused. Help!!

Yes, you could get the dining for only 7 nights if you do it the way that you're suggesting. If you book all 10 nights on 1 reservation, you will have 10 sit down meals, 10 counter service meals, and 10 snacks.

Make sure that if you do book a reservation for 7 nights and a reservation for 3 nights that you have them note on both reservations that they are continuing reservations. You're VERY likely to keep the same room when you have to check out of your first reservation and check into your second one that way. (I say that cause they don't guarantee it, but I don't think I've ever heard of anyone not getting to keep their room doing it that way)

That is exactly right... just make sure you buy park tickets with that 7 night stay to make it a package. Then the 3 nights can just be room-only.
