Magic Mountain Small Purse on coasters

My 2 teen daughters and I are going to Magic Mountain in 2 weeks. We're roller coaster enthusiasts and plan to ride as many as possible. The loose article policy states that you can't bring a purse with you onto certain coasters, but waist packs are OK. I have a small baggalini purse, not much larger than a fanny pack that I could wrap and secure around my waist. I used it at Cedar Point on all their coasters without any problem. Will this be allowed at Magic Mountain? If not, what do people use to hold cell phone, car keys, drivers license and credit cards while they're on the coasters? It would be lovely if they had free lockers by each coaster like Universal does, but it doesn't look like they do, from what I can tell on the website.

At Discovery Kingdom (Six Flags Nor CA) they have little cubbies where you can leave your bag, water bottle, etc at many coasters. When I was at Magic Mountain about 7 years ago they also had those cubbies, but I don't know if they've installed the paid lockers. Some of the more popular and newer rides at Discovery Kingdom have paid lockers instead of the cubbies. They do check that people don't have their bags with them as they're checking restraints. Perhaps if you already had it wrapped around your waist they wouldn't notice?

Magic Mountain has gotten more strict with bags. I usually have a backpack and put it in the cubbies. Not sure about the small purse.

Some rides have the lockers outside, I think they are $1. X2, Tatsu, Scream. I believe they would ask you to take off even a small purse on rides such as X2 & Tatsu because of the way the restaints are.

To be safe, I ordered a waist pack from Amazon, since the website says that they are allowed on all the coasters.
