I have decided to send DH off with our two "grown up" kids to MM for one day of intense roller-coaster riding. I know that some of the lines will be long so I need a strategy that will get them on all the best coasters in one day (9 or 10 hours).

I would suggest that the first thing you do is try to get on X. It's a unique coaster where the seats actually rotate while the train is travelling along the track. You literally have no idea where you're moving and lose you sense of orientation. If you get there later in the day, you could be looking at a 3 to 4 hour wait.

The other coaster that you can't pass is Goliath. It has a steep 65 degree drop that takes your breath (and heart and stomach) away. There are other coasters there, but at a minimum, you have to go on those two.

Our must do's are:

X (more for my son than myself)
Goliath
Superman
Riddler's Revenge

Want to do:
Batman
Viper
De Ja Vu

Anything else is just icing on the cake.
