We will be going to DL sept 22-26, Thursday thru Monday. Which day should we use our magic morning?

I was thinking on the first day (Thursday) because it just seems natural to start the trip with 4 kids under 7 in Fantasyland and not using MM would mean we would likely have to wait until 10am to start our fun! But does it make more sense to use the MM to give us a head start on Saturday when the park is busier?

By Saturday odds are you will be too tired to get up that early. Use your MM on the first possible day. :teacher:

I disagree with HG when it comes to MM. I would rather use mine on a weekend if it was available during my stay because like you said it will be a busier day in general. Saturday is always my day of choice.

I agree with HG for the reason he gave.

Plus I'd rather get up at 7am for a 9am MM...... than at 5am for a 7am MM. :thumbsup2

On top of that, with the park opening later on Thursday, it seems to me that there may be more people who are willing and able to make it to the park by rope drop, whereas with an earlier opening time on Saturday you may see more of a gradual filling of the park. Because of this, you may see more benefit in using your MM on Thursday.

I would be doing the Saturday MM because very early MM's are a bit less appealing to others than ones that start later in the day. Lines seem to be a little shorter on 7:00 a.m. MMs...though that might just be my imagination. ;)

Then, you have a still-quiet morning at 8:00 a.m. general rope drop to experience Adventureland etc. Also, we do a mid-day swim or nap on MM days, and this might work out better with the heavier crowds that are typical on Saturdays (versus Thursdays).

Since the OP is only using it for Fantasyland, I'd rather deal with the weekday crowds for MM than the weekend crowds in there.

Plus, if they aren't going to do Fantasyland until they have MM (that's *if*), then they have to wait for it! (of course they can just hit Fantasyland on Friday at park-opening)

If I had kids clamoring for Fantasyland I'd do MM on the first possible day, then on the non-MM days at park-opening, and then the other days everyone's needs for Fantasyland would be calmed down a bit and we could do other things. :)
