Hi All

I have a 3 Day Ticket (one park per day) with one day magic morning included.

I am visiting…

  • Thursday - California Adventure (has Magic Morning)
  • Friday - Disneyland (has Magic Morning)
  • Saturday - Disneyland

Is it possible to get in the park for Rope Drop on the Thursday without using the “Magic Morning” element as I want to use that on the Friday.

The company who sold me the ticket said I should not scan in at the barrier until after official park opening on the Thursday to not lose the Magic Morning element and miss out on rope dropping etc.

Any thoughts?

Just to clarify:
MM is only at DL (FL and TL only) on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays (unless Disney changes the days, which can sometimes happen, e.g. Christmas Week, so always double check to be safe!). MM comes with most 3 + day tickets -- one MM per ticket. So a 3 day ticket has one MM and a 5 day ticket has one MM.
DCA has EMH, which is the early entry perk given to on site guests only. DL also has this perk and it coincides with MM (same days of the week).
So Thursday will be MM/EMH at DL (FL and TL only).
If you are staying on site, you will have EMH at DCA on Friday.
There will be another MM/EMH at DL (FL and TL only) on Saturday.
If you want to use your MM at DL on the Saturday, but wish to do RD at DL on Thursday, just make sure that you are in line early (see Rise of the Resistance BOARDING GROUPS Superthread *No Ride Spoilers Please* *PLEASE READ POSTS 1-3* to understand why) and that you go through a gate marked for regular entry, not for MM (the signs above the gates should change from MM to regular entry after MM entry is done).
If you are on a 3 day ticket and are not staying on site, you will have to choose one MM, either Thursday or Saturday. You can't do both.

Trust me to mess up the post... I Thanks for pointing out my mistakes...
  • Wednesday - California Adventure
  • Thursday - Disneyland (has Magic Morning)
  • Friday - Disneyland
So as long as I use the entrance marked "Regular Entry" it won't deduct my early morning magic element ? That is great news! But I guess its besides point now you have pointed out I can only use at DL anyway... Thanks again

The only day of your three you are eligible for Magic Morning is Thursday. If you don’t use it on Thursday it goes away. There is no Magic Morning on Friday, and you can’t use MM at California Adventure, period.

Glad everything is sorted out! If you want to go for a ROTR BG, Thursday will be a good day because you'll already be inside DL when the park officially opens. So you'll be in a good position to find a spot with good reception for your phone and be ready to go. And if you decide to try for a second BG on Friday, you'll have the advantage of experience behind you.

Awesome stuff - just cancelled a trip to World last night because of all the construction that is going on and rebooking for 2021 so excited to try it out (RR) at DIsneyland instead :D

Fantasmic Dining Reserved Seating Question -- F! originated at DL and most WDW vets agree that DL has the better show (while WDW has the better seating!) -- BB's dining package comes with a souvenir seat cushion and lets you eat inside the POTC bayou (fun!) -- HB's package is the most economical -- all regular dining packages (HB, BB, RBT) have ground seating right up by the water with the best views. There is a RBT Premium Package that has chairs, but the view is not so great. If you can sit on the ground, the other packages are worth it!
