Hey-----going to Disney next month
I've heard about Philhar magic a little but not sure if my family should put in the time to see it. We have some teens some 10 yr olds and adults. Is it worth it and did you like it or not?? Thanks :cool1:

We really liked it. It was me DH and DD6 and 4. We went to it first thing in the morning to avoid the lines. If there is a wait I would fast pass it.

Hi,
It is very worth seeing. This is one of my familys fav shows.Go see it,you will enjoy it very much!!!!

It is the best overall attraction in Fantasyland, for anyone over the age of 8. Don't miss it.

:welcome:

Philharmagic is a very awesome 3D movie... (maybe they should say 4D because they have lots of scents as well, which really adds to the magic)

It doesn't take long.. the movie is maybe 12-15 minutes and the wait once your in the door is at most 30 minutes. I thought it was a very "Disney" part of our visit.

My 5-year old is blind in one eye so the 3D effects are not going to work for him :guilty: Is it still worth it to take him to it?

I would say definitely take the time to see it. Like another poster said, go early to avoid lines, or Fastpass it. My family really enjoyed it, including our 16-year-old son (and his 12- and 9-year-old brothers). If you can walk out of a show or off a ride and NOT have your teenager roll his eyes at you, that's really saying something!

Definitely worth it! We saw it on Tuesday and everybody loved it (ages 59, 50, 34, 19 and 11). :thumbsup2

I agree with everyone else. We saw it twice last year because we all (DS then 12, DH and myself) really liked it!!! Go early and FP if you need to, well worth seeing it atleast once! It is just so well put together.

michaelsmommy: I am sorry I am not sure what advice to give you here. However, I do think if he can not see the 3D effects, then he may not enjoy it. That really is what makes it a special show. So sorry to hear about his blindness. :grouphug:

It is so great because it brings the classic Disney characters, and many others, not represented in the parks to Fantasyland where they belong.

As far as blindness in one eye, Perhaps wear the glasses for clarity and the music and effects of the air and scents will be able to make up for the loss of 3-d.

All I can say is don't miss it! It is one of my fav all time
3-D shows!!!!!!! :3dglasses

It's a great show and a great way to sit down and cool off during a hot day. I say go for it! I haven't met anyone who didn't like it! :cool1:

One of my fave things about PhilharMagic was sitting near a bunch of toddlers and watching them reaching out to grab the 3D things as they floated towards them. So Cute!!!! :goodvibes

We all LOVE it and see it at least two times when we go....
although my family gets a bit embarrassed when I sing along, haha
