Hi, I am looking for lunch or dinner recommendations for our Magic Kingdom day. Thanks

There are not too many choices for TS at MK.. but, I am going to LTT (Liberty Tree Tavern).. It is family style good ole cooking.. Turkey, stuffing and fixins..
if you are looking for Italian, try Tony's Town Square. (although I haven't read to many good reviews on the food)..
Then you have Crystal Palace (which is a buffet and character meal).. We loved the buffet, but we went for breakfast..
Cinderellas Royal Table (in the actual Castle) this pricey and the food is NOT good.. But, its the experience that people go for.. get the meet the Princesses..
The Plaza.. I have never eaten here, but I have been reading that its good.!

If you want a break from the park, hop the monorail to Kona Cafe or The Grand Floridan Cafe. Those are our two favorites. :)

Otherwise, in park we usually do QS at Pecos Bill.

I agree with Agri! Was going to recommend leaving the park to have dinner at the Poly, the GF or the Contemporary. My family loved O'hanas and Konas. If you are paying out of pocket - how about the GF Cafe, it's table service and not as expensive as some of the other restaurants. For quick service I like the Columbia House at MK.

Buffet - Crystal Palace

CS - Cosmic Ray's

TS - I havent eaten at the plaza so the only TS experience I have is CRT for BKFSt and it wasnt great - food wise

TS - The Plaza

CS - Columbia Harbor House or Pecos Bill's

I've picked Columbia Harbor House and Pecos Bill's based on reading tons of reviews and suggestions here. Although I haven't been there, I'm confident with my choices!

I have not been impressed with any of the sitdown (table service) restaurants at Magic Kingdom. But for a counter service lunch, I recommend Cosmic's Rays Starlight Cafe or Columbia Harbour House.

On one of our Magic Kingdom days we are going to do Ohana at the Poly and on the other we are going to leave and go to Epcot because there are extra magic hours that night and we want to miss the crowds.

I would leave the park and hop to a monorail resort. We love The Wave at the Contemporary as well as Kona and Ohana at the Poly.

Good choices--Cosmic Rays is consistently bland, but just about all the counter service is decent. Not a ringing endorsement, exactly--the only counter service on property that always leaves me wanting seconds is Flame Tree at AK. They can't ALL be the best, though. :o)

The Liberty Tree is a great choice for lunch. Usually for dinner we leave the park as we are not impressed with the selection. Although we have not done it before, I understand that if you time it right and eat at the Castle you have a great view of the fireworks.

If you are looking for TS and want to stay in the park, we enjoy Liberty Tree Tavern for both lunch and dinner. As previous posters mentioned, lunch is an ala carte menu and dinner is a fixed price thanksgiving-type meal. We have a couple picky eaters in our family of 5, and everyone is always happy with Liberty Tree.

If you are looking for TS and are willing to leave the park, I highly recommend either Kona and Ohana at the Polynesian. I like the atmosphere at Ohana better, and we enjoy the bread, salads, appetizers and desserts (not so much the meats lately.) It's all-you-can-eat and fixed price. If you're looking for great Disney theming and lots of food, Ohana is a good choice. Kona is a reasonably priced alternative next door with an ala carte menu - lots of great items on that menu.

If you're looking for TS, are willing to leave the park and would consider a signature restaurant, then California Grill is one of our favorites for food, atmosphere and view.

If you are looking for CS, Columbia Harbor House of El Pirata. The menu at CHH is fine and I think the atmosphere is the least hectic of the MK CS options. If it's open, we really like El Pirata - relatively fresh Mexican food with a great toppings bar. But it's seasonal, so it's hard to say whether it will be open at any given time.

We really like LTT for lunch. Their burgers are good and ooey gooey toffee cake is so yummy.

We always enjoyed the Plaza for lunch. Great place to relax and enjoy a nice sandwich or salad and the yummy ice cream for dessert. However, last year we discovered LTT for lunch. I never was a big fan of the all you can eat dinner but the lunch is totally different. I absolutely love their Colony salad so much so that out server gave me the recipes for both the salad and the amazing dressing which I now make all of the time at home.:thumbsup2

I have a review on my website of the Plaza lunch with photos (in the MK section). I still need to put up my review of the delicious LTT lunch. (we will be eating there for lunch in a few weeks, LTT that is).

El Pirata y Perico is good for counter service. The other counter service joints are ok, but nothing special.

Plaza is nice if you are not in a hurry.

For lunch I would go to The Plaza, the food is very good

Overall we are not that impressed with the TS options at MK so I would go to the resorts like The Wave, Kona or Grand Floridian Cafe (if you want to keep it 1TS) but Citricos is the best!
