Magic Kingdom which day to choose

We are headed to Orlando for a brief trip, arriving Nov 30th and departing on Dec 4th. We have a one day park hopper pass to use. Traveling with 7 adults and a 8 month old baby and we have been to Disney a lot. Trying to decide the best day for a Magic Kingdom/Animal Kingdom day. The crowd calendar says Friday Dec 4th is a 4 out of 10 but Magic Kingdom is an early entry day (we are staying off site). Both days have the Very Merry Christmas party so MK in the evening is out.

So we are considering Sunday, Dec 6th for our Disney day. However, the crowd calendar says this day is a 6/10. We have one day scheduled at Universal as well to see Mannheim Steamroller, either Saturday or Sunday. Sunday would be the ideal days as crowds in the evening are lower at Universal while the concert is going on.

Any thoughts? Ideally we would do Disney on Friday and Universal on Sunday but the early entry at MK on Friday is throwing my plans off. We'd like to see some of the new sites at AK but with the 30 day out window today we may not be able to score any fass passes. Thanks!

If it was me I’d avoid the early entry day if you can’t take advantage of it.

Confused. It says you are departing the 4th but asking about the 6th. I'll be there from 11/27-12/7 so familiar with the crowd levels...

I'm also a bit confused because December 4th isn't a Friday and December 6th isn't a Sunday.

Yeah, I'm really confused, too. The dates that have Christmas parties during your time frame are Friday, Dec 1 and Sunday Dec 3, with Dec 1 having morning EMH. Normally, I would agree that doing a park on an EMH day when you're staying offsite isn't a good idea, but I'm thinking that with the shorter hours, it might balance out.
