Magic kingdom touring plan - which "land" first?

We have a PS dinner over at Liberty Square so I was thinking of doing Tommorowland first and going counter clockwise (Fantasyland, Liberty Square , Frontier, Adventure). Sound good or should we do another land first (Adventure) and go the other direction? Or just head straight to one of the other lands first?

I would do Fantasyland first because that's the area that gets the most busy. By mid-morning everyone is going to this section and by afternoon, it's crazy packed in this section. Rides like Peter Pan and Pooh end up with like 90 min. waits. However, if you are starting in the evening, as I assume since you are talking about dinner, I would still suggest going here first, but you may need to get some fastpasses instead. If you are a Splash and BT Mountain rider, I would suggest going to those straight out of dinner, get a fastpass if you need to for one, ride the other, then go to Fantasyland.

We are spending the entire day there. I just was wondering if we should do a plan that would put us at Liberty square by dinner or just not worry about it.

Also according to the crowd levels ours is a 3, but I know the week before when we are going jumped up a bit.. .I was wondering if Ishould take Len's UG Cheat sheets for crowds 4-5 just in case.

I guess I should have added it's EMH morning day and I hope we can wake up in time becase I've heard you can get a lot done :)

Also the cheat sheet is:

I was looking at the crowd level 4-5 and it looks like more times slots are X (meaning not recommended to visit) in Tomorrowland than Fantasyland. And times are listed as FP (meaning recommended use Fastpass).

I guess I don't know - Fantasy or tomorrowland ?

I always plan to spend two days at the magic kingdom. On early entry days we start in Tommorrowland with Space Mountain, Buzz, the Grand Prix cars and then head to Fantasyland. We always get there a little before opening and have always seen all our must see attractions by noon. On normal days we start with Splash Mountain & Thundermountain RR. Hit all our must see attraction in frontierland and adventure land early and once again work our way towards fantasyland after lunch. It works for us but I guess it really depends on what your priorities are. :rolleyes1

It'll be really challenging to plan your day so you wind up at a particular part (LS) by dinner. Even if you could, I really don't think it's necessary, just maximize your fun!

As far as where to start, it depends on what you want to ride. If Dumbo-Peter Pan-Pooh, then I'd start in Fantasyland. If you aren't into those, and especially if you aren't into those and are into Space Mtn, Buzz, Stitch, Indycars, then I'd start in Tomorrowland. Have a great time! :wizard:

Thanks! I guess we just want to do stuff. I'll just make a note of the stuff we want to do and just do what comes naturally :)

I like a lot of stuff in both fantasy and tomorrow ! I guess I'll just pick one ! Both seem to have attractions open during EMH also.

my only advice is don't do splash mtn just before your ps time 'cause you definitely want time to walk around in the sunshine to dry off rather than sit in the air conditioning damp (or soaking wet)...

I would get there right before the park opens and then head straight to Fantasyland. On our December trip my sister and I did every attraction in Fantasyland in the first hour we were there. Then we went to Frontierland and got FP for Splash Mountain, waited in line maybe 20 mintutes for BTMR. We had gotten so much done that by noon we were kind of able to wander around and take it easy.
