It could not have been more perfect!

Weather is hot, not that humid. We didn't really feel it that bad because we alternated a lot between inside and outside attractions. Plus a water mister fan was a God send. With doing that we were comfortable.

Crowds....NONE! We literally walked on to every attraction. We had an ADR for Crystal palace for 9:30AM, so we didn't even hit the park attractions until 11AM. Walked onto everything from 11-7. We only waited about 10 minutes (sign said 20) for Ariel and that's the shortest i've ever seen. Ariel's 10 minute wait was the longest wait we had.

Restaurants: Crystal Palace was crowded at 9:30, but it's always crowded. We showed up at 9:15 and got seated by 9:40, not bad. We ate a late lunch at 2:30 pm at Cosmic Rays and had no wait and no fighting for tables.

Buses: We stayed at pop and left the hotel at 8AM, the line was semi long but we only waited 10 minutes and there were two buses at once. On the way home we also waited about 10 minutes and there weren't many people at 7:30PM...everyone had a seat.

What rides did we hit in 8 hours?

1. THunder mountain (2 x's)
2. Splash Mountain (2x's)
3. Pirates
4. Magic Carpets
5. Peter Pan (sign said 30 minute wait so we FP'd and then walked right in).
6. Snow white
7. Philharmagic
8. IASM
9. Cindy's carousel
10. Met Ariel
11. Kids played at pooh's playful spot for about 30 minutes in the fountains
12. Barnstormer (2x's)
13. Toontown (playground, minnie and mickey's houses, donalds boat)
14. Met princesses
15. Met Mickey
16. Railroad

We missed only a couple and plan to do them on thursday after 4 before MNSSHP.

Negatives:
Only complaint was that some of the rides were down for technical difficulties. We went to pirates and it was down, then went to thunder mountain and about 20 people before us they shut it down for problems and we had to walk off, and as usual we got stuck in Haunted Mansion for a good 5 minutes or so. Pirates and BTMR both opened back up but it was just an annoying bump in the road.

I'm going to move this over to our trip report board. Enjoy the rest of the trip.

I was at the Magic Kingdom yesterday and it was very crowded. My son and I commented that it seemed almost as crowded yesterday as it was during our June trip this Summer. The humidity yesterday was much better than it was over the weekend, but it was really hot. Yesterday I was in hot Florida and today I'm home in cold Michigan - only in the low 60's today!

"They" say mondays are the busiest day at MK. But it was also a Jewish holiday so a lot of local schools had off for a three day vacation. I think that contributed to heavier crowds over the weekend and yesterday. Today you couldn't have asked for a better day. I'm hoping the rest of the week is just as nice....fingers crossed!

Yes - Mondays are very busy at the Magic Kingdom. I usually try to avoid it during my trips, but we always like to spend part of our last day at the Magic Kingdom and that happened to be Monday!! I have always found Tuesdays to have much lighter crowds than Mondays. I have another trip planned for December and our last day will be Tuesday so that should be nice - I hope!!

When we were there I saw on the news that a "cold" front was supposed to be coming through starting today I believe - highs only in the mid 80's - so that should be very nice. I laughed when I heard that they referred to that as a cold front. There is definitely a cold front here in Michigan right now. It will only be in the 60's this week and they are forecasting a frost/freeze warning for tonight - down to the 30's!!

Have a nice rest of the week!!
