Magic Kingdom to Whispering Canyon Cafe

Realistically trying to figure out how long it will take to get from the Magic Kingdom to Disney's Wilderness Lodge for a 1 pm reservation at Whispering Canyon Cafe. If you have done this route before please tell me the best transportation and how long it takes.

I love Whispering Canyon! It is the one restaruant that we do every trip!
We have used the boat a few times before. We allow about 30 min and have not been late yet.

We stay at WL every trip. The boats are more consistent in timing than the buses. Takes about 30 mins. From the boat dock follow the path to the WL and go towards the front of the resort to get to WCC! Have fun and enjoy the atmosphere!

The boat is def the best way to go...I agree it should only take about 30 min, but Disney time is always slower than real time lol so I would allow an hour total...just in case

Another vote for the boat. We stayed at WL for the first time last year (headed back this year too) and LOVED how fast we could get to and from MK using the boat.

My family also used the boat to get from MK to WL. The dock is located in front of the MK. When you exit MK, veer to the right (away from the bus stops and more towards the monorail). The boat ride took about 20 minutes (at least according to the GPS) and then it's a bit of walk from the WL dock to the lodge itself, so allow a bit more time. So I would allow between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on how fast of walkers you are and if you wanted look at the pool area (you'll walk by it) on your way.

There is also a bus which goes from the Magic Kingdom to the Wilderness Lodge and if it's there it will be a lot faster then taking the boat, since the Wilderness Lodge is only 5 minutes away.
