Magic Kingdom to Contemporary/California grill

Having trouble making dining reservations not knowing where things are

We are planning to be at animal kingdom, Hollywood studios and magic kingdom one day each. California grill reservations at 7:25 pm. any night. Wishes is at 8:00. Which park should i coordinate with california grill? Does it matter?
On the animal kingdom night since it closes at 6? On the magic kingdom night since we,ll be able to see wishes from there.?

I'd go with the AK night so that you do not have to stop having fun anywhere to enjoy your meal at California Grill.

First question I have is where are you staying? If you want to go back to your room to freshen up and change before going to CG, then I would go to the park closest to your resort. If not, then I would go to MK on the day you plan on going to CG since it is in the Contemporary Resort and you will only be a monorail ride away. On our May trip, we are going we too have ADRs for CG on our MK day, and even though we are staying at BCV (I know contrary to what I suggested to you), we plan on going to the park until just after lunch then head back to the resort for our daily nap/rest, then while at the resort get freshened up and get dressed for our CG ADR (which is at 5:30pm, the earliest seating they have), then since MK is opened until 2am that night, head straight back over to MK for the rest of the night. Have a great time, you will LOVE CG....it is one of our favorite signature restaurants and a must do every time we are in Disney.

Personally I would plan to visit the Magic Kingdom on the night of your California Grill ADR, because from there you can take the Resort Monorail or use the walkway when going to the Contemporary.

Yup... MK, but take the walkway instead of the monorail... it is a lot faster and more efficient .
