Magic Kingdom Swap - Progress - MORE MAILED ON 4/14!!!

DS13 was home yesterday and today with a head cold so he did laundry for me and unloaded the dish washer. I also slept til 9, thankfully my mom called or the kids never would have made it to school. We were late but whatever, they didn't miss much.

Sounds like you have a very special son! Please tell him the Dis Board ladies appreciate how well he is taking care of you and the house.

Apparently it was Fifth's disease.

The kiddos had it last week so no big surprise that I caught it too

An adult who is not immune can be infected with parvovirus B19 and either have no symptoms or develop the typical rash of fifth disease, joint pain or swelling, or both. Usually, joints on both sides of the body are affected. The joints most frequently affected are the hands, wrists, and knees. The joint pain and swelling usually resolve in a week or two, but they may last several months. About 50% of adults, however, have been previously infected with parvovirus B19, have developed immunity to the virus, and cannot get fifth disease.

DS13 says thanks for the props. As much as he drives me crazy, he's a pretty awesome kid. I've had a parent and 2 teachers compliment me on his manners in the past few weeks. It feels pretty darn good to know I did something right.

I give up. I've tried posting pics the last two nights and I can't remember how to do it, or it just isn't working. I'm not sure which is happening. Granted, I've not posted a pic in probably six months, but I thought it was like riding a bike. Sorry, no pics for me unless someone has a suggestion.

Hey BAMB! I didn't read all of the posts but I see your not feeling well. Get better,K!:wizard:
DIT, I'm done with 3 groups.

I worked on these today. Here are the groups I did:

Group V2 - Magic
The M is glitter paper and the M shadow is bling. The top paper of the star is bling and embossed.

Group V4 - Pirate

Group X3 - Tomorrowland
This is a hard one! I ended up with 3 layers of paper for the T and then 2 different ribbons at the top.

I've got 2 more altered letter groups to complete and 1 element group and then I'm finished!!!!!

Question.

On the instructions on page 1 for Groups A-S will be two elements, ok, got this one ..

But for groups T and U are they still two elements? Or just one?

Ok, I think that's all the questions for now ...

Groups A-U are two elements from the list. It originally said A-S, but I left T & U completely out. I've fixed that now.

For all the other groups (V-ZZ4), you just make the alerted letter.

I finished my last group last night. I thought I would share my creations.

Group L-Barnstormer. This was my last one and the idea I had in my head was not working out when put to paper. However my dh showed me the light:goodvibes. I was still able to use the pieces I already cut out and just made them into different elements than what I was aiming for.

Group S- Monorail. I designed this one with scal. There are different color monorails so everyone will not get green. I did 2 green, 1 yellow, 1 purple, and 1 turquoise blue. The monorail piece will spread across a double layout.

Group V4- Disney. I thought of several color schemes when I think of Disney, but I went for a look as when Tink is flying over the castle. Kinda like the prefix before a disney sunday movie.

Group Y3- Jasmine. I joined this group because I knew I had the perfect paper for her. I used a small Jasmine 3-d sticker and a jewel to embellish it.

Group ZY3- Donald Duck. I went for the "donald" attire to make this letter. The white part is flocked. And the matte is yellow to bring out the beak color in him.

Group ZZ- M for Mickey. When I first cut this out I did it at the 4 inch size. So now I am hoping for another altered letter swap so I can use those pieces. At the 2 inch size my idea did not fit as well thus the mickey sticker off to the side. I wanted to add him onto the letter but it was a tight fit, so I will let those in my group decide if they want to add him or not.

That is it. Not sure when I will mail them off, but I will let you know when they go postal.

They are marvelous - love them all! (And I get the Tink "D" and the monorail :cool1: )

Those all look so awesome! (Checking to see if I get any....) I get the Mickey M!

What paper did you use for the Barnstormer group? I love it! And Goofy is hilarious in his little plane - I never thought of combining the two.

Just finished 10 sets of snacktime! now I can work on letters again!

DIT and NM~ Loving everything! and I get DITs Magic (think DCL!!) and NMs "M"!:cool1:
