What is an ATC? I love all your pieces!!!

ATC is an Artist Trading Card. They are the size of a baseball card 2.5 x 3.5 and are decorated/embellished. They are almost like a smaller card or layout.

No it doesn't open. Just looks like the front of a card. Should have been more clear- sorry

Most swaps require them to be embellished at least three different ways like extra layers of paper, tearing, chalking, glitter, ribbon, brads, diecuts, ink, etc. The list is endless.

JJ&JHSMOM - your box arrived yesterday and everything looks great! My DH was even interrested in seeing what you made. All of the swappers in the MK swap should be very happy with what they are getting! Such great pieces from everyone.

I wanted to update on pics. I'm going to post some pics of some of the pieces that haven't been posted. I'm not going to post all of the pics because, as my DH pointed out while I was struggling with the camera to focus and then with the downloads - with 260+ pieces, at even 2 minutes per piece - that's 520 minutes or almost 10 hours ! No way I can spend 10 hours uploading.

Would you rather I just take some random pics of pieces that haven't been posted, or wait until I get full groups and take single pics of the groups? Not sure how much you will be able to see if I post of whole groups. It won't give you up close detail, but will give you an idea of what is coming.

This probably won't help you since you've started slide show (I think...I can't tell because my workplace blocks photo sites/images)...

When it comes to pictures, do you think maybe we could come up with a shared photobucket (or shutterfly, or whatever) account for swapping? We could always share the password through pm-ing and then as we finish pieces each swapper can upload the pictures. The hostess could be the one to set up the album in the account and then it's up to the individual swappers to upload.

That would be less stress on the hostess for sure! And, if the hostess still wanted to take pics of the pieces all together, they could still do so....but the individual pictures would already be posted for everyone to see.

Just a thought...

I haven't actually started a slideshow yet. This is the first time I'm posting pics as a hostess and I'm still working on how is best to do this. One single photobucket account would be great, maybe with separate files for each swap? Then you could access the file that you wanted to see or browse through the files to get some inspiration. I just finished my angel group (002) pieces...Main Street tags:

Hopefully you can tell, DH could, that the one is a glittered Mickey with a hat and cane....

I was inspired by the wonderful work in the current tag swap! (I was lurking hah)

I left room on the one tag thinknig you could journal on it or add something extra....that way there's options.
