Alrighty, I finally have my title piece finished for group CC! I attempted using SCAL but my cricut mat decided to hate the paper I was using and I got annoyed, scratched the whole idea, and went with typing the title. It's inked and has brads...


Because I felt it was too plain, and I couldn't figure out what to add (I've had a real creative block for a few weeks), I made Cinderella's castle (from happily ever after) as an extra. I hope that's ok!

The grass is flocked.

I love what you did with the Castle!!

Before the Cricut, most titles were printed out on nice paper and matted like that. I see nothing wrong with going old school.

Okay so after a little outing to Right at Home Scrapbooking(thanks Jennifer!!!) and to the JoAnns Superstore....spent a few hours shopping with DD. DH offered to buy me a Gypsy while we were there, had to talk him out of paying full price, sometimes I am just too frugal for my own good. Told him I would watch the prices online and he could have DS help him order one for Mother's Day.

It was the Joann's near the Emerald Square Mall, they have a much better selction than any of the stores around me. I have been trying to make it down that way for 2 months, between the weather, work and my family it was not possible till yesterday. I may have to schedule a few more trips.

This was my favorite find from yesterday though:

He sings the Polly Waddle Doodle song, and if you pick him up by the ears He yells to put him down. He is soooooo cute!! Picked him up at the Hallmark store, DD and I had to have it!!!!

Tonights crop was cancelled due to stomach bug, which is totally good with me. I'd rather not take any chances bringing that home!! Since I have some spare time, I will take the last two spots that need angeling groups A, Magic Carpets and K, Main Street Vehicles. I should have these finished today.

Sorry I was MIA this weekend. We had two solid days of rain last week, followed by 50 mph winds on friday. Something knocked out our phone and internet and it wasn't returned until sometime last night. I tried to respond via my cell phone, but that didn't work out very well. I just ended up getting frustrated and giving up.

I love all the new pieces that have been posted. We really have some great work this time around! Can't wait to see them in person.

Thanks to all who took an angel spot. I really do appreciate it, as I've hit a creative roadblock. I have 8 of my groups done, but am struggling with the rest. Am gonna try to get the rest finished this week and weekend so I don't feel guilty about signing up for the school swap!
