Magic Kingdom....Right or left

When you go to the magic kingdom do you hang a right or a left??
We always head straight for the POC. Thought I might try something different next time.

We turn right, to Buzz, almost everytime.

Neither. It's straight to the back to Fantasyland.

Here's my theory.....

The crowd at MK follows the "right hand" theory which states that the majority of people are right handed which means they will naturally tend to go right at the castle to Tomorrowland. They spend the morning at Tomorrowland and when its time for lunch they eat at Cosmic Rays. This is why Cosmic Rays is the world's busiest fast food restaurant (see you learned something today).

My family and I tend to go left or straight at the castle for this reason. You can visit the attractions in fantasyland or adventureland without a huge wait and we like to have lunch in liberty square.

We head straight to Fantasyland first thing in the morning. It seems to not be as crowded that first hour and then we are able to do the whole land and move on to another.

Take a left & splash mtn first. There's nothing better than touring the world with a soggy butt!

RIGHT to Space Mountain to get a FP or ride RIGHT away if the line isn't too long

It used to be straight through to Fantasyland. Now with older kids Its Buzz, Space Mt.

We also used to head to the right for Buzz but now that we have a 2 1/2 year old DD we went right through to Fantasyland and The Dumbo ride! I think it also depends who you go with when we have gone with my sister's family we always went left for Splash Mtn first. I really don't care which way we go I love it all!!

Yes!

If we go first thing in the morning it is straight through to Fantasyland. Definitely the least crowded time for this area! Any other time of the day we usually go right to Tomorrowland. For many, many years all we ever did as kids is go left to Adventureland and continue in a clockwise direction.....Now that I've broken the pattern it's as if I just can't allow myself to do it that way ever again!!

Not sure, I have NO sense of direction and still get lost in MK. I do like to ride HM first, by the time I finally find it the line is verrry long!! Susan

We also follow the "right handed" theory no matter what park we are in. This has always worked for us regarding crowds, except when we went in August 00. That was our 1st and last summer trip ever.

If we arrive early, it's to back to Splash Mtn. as quick as we can. Any other time of day it's a left to the popcorn wagon in front of the Town Hall!!
