I've never seen this effect. Do they still do it? Also, I seem to remember a long time ago, this guy would turn "invisible". Was I imagining this or was it a real effect?

When we were there in January, I did not see them do the 'smoke' effect. I, too, seem to remember that Elliot did phase out - at least for the first year we saw the 'Main Street Electrical Parade'.

Regarding the Madam Leota tombstone...still there as of a couple weeks ago! She's just to the left of the doors before you enter the mansion.

And she makes an occasional appearance here...
