Magic Kingdom Photo Shoot

What do ya'll think? I want to have a Magic Kingdom photo shoot. I would schedule the shoot the day after the wedding but we are leaving for our honeymoon that morning so the only day to schedule it would be the day of our wedding which means he would see me before the wedding?! Is the shoot worth breaking the cardinal rule: Must not see each other before the wedding?!!! Help!! I need advice!

I totally think that is a great excuse to break the rule!!!!!!!

Who gets that experience except for Disney Brides? NO ONE!! Which makes it VERY unique and in my opinion......A MUST DO!

A lot of brides see their groom before the wedding for picture purposes. Plus you could do something little to make the wedding unique. Like not wear a veil for the shoot and then wear one for the wedding, or something, to change the look a little!

I say do it - you can build in a little time to share together when you first see each other decked out the morning of the shoot. And then you'll be able to tell each other how great you look instead of whispering back and forth at the altar!

I think it's definely worth it! It's a great opportunity, and the photos that come out of it look amazing. Who cares about the rules, You're in the Happiest place on Earth!

I say go for it! We did it last monday and it was a great experience. However, be prepared that your dress will get extremely dirty. Maybe mine was on a special day, but my dress is disgusting!! Just be extra careful when you do it!!!!

Oh wow the photos are fantastic. I wish I was having A Disney Wedding.

I am getting married on the 29th June in the UK but fly the next day to Florida for the honeymoon in Disney. I am having to see my partner before hand as we live together and as my family live 4 hrs away it is a bit far for me to pop around my Mums to stay the night. I did everything right the first time and ended up divorced so this time I am not being nervous of breaking any rules. I am going to go with the flow and travel with my lovely man to the ceromony together to meet our families there. I am so looking forward to my first trip to Disney in Florida

to the boards by the way, and have a great Disneymoon! You could always compromise and have the honeymoon shoot in MK - I think it's under $300 but the downside is that you have to wear casual wear (altho' you could both wear something fairly nice like chino type trousers and a nice blouse / shirt) and there could be some other guests in the background altho' I'm sure Disney photographer's will try their best not to let other's spoil your shots.
Otherwise, you could have a vow renewal at Disney in the future (we had to marry in the UK due to family, but always promised ourselves we'd have a Disney VR for my 40th Birthday, 11 years married).
Whatever you decide to do...enjoy it!
