We are staying off-site. Does purchasing parking for the day allow in and out privileges or will we need to pay again upon return?

You can come and go, to MK or any other park. You pay once a day. Keep your receipt!

Yes, the parking pass is good at any park all day long.

You'll find that if you go to another park later in the day, you can wind up parking toward the front of the park. As guests start to leave, they direct incoming people toward those spots. Makes it nice for an evening trip. When you come out of the park and you're tired and just want to go home, you don't have to wait for the tram if you don't want to, it's a short walk to the car.
