Magic Kingdom parade ???

We have a question about the 'Dreams Come True' daytime parade at the Magice KIngdom ---- Do they still do 'stops' & take children to participate during the parade???

No, they don't do the stops anymore. One reason they were eliminated was safety concerns. So many little children were running into the parade to participate, that at times it was difficult for the CM's to keep track of them. It's sad that the stops are gone because the children enjoyed them so much--but safety has to come first.

when i was there in Sept. 2003, they did. in fact, we were right across from the mk train station in center court, and they stopped quite a bit.

We were there couple weeks ago and we were almost at the end by train station right in front of the Hall, and it started to rain hard, my dd was dress as Alice in woderland and lots of characters stopped and hug her including Alice, she was the happiest kid on earth! I got some pics !

They were still doing stops in 2003. They stopped in February 2004 after a tragic accident to a CM during the DCT parade. So they eliminated stops because of the accident, and also because, like someone else said, too many kids were running around in the street. So now they are a lot more strict about the parades and safety.

Yeap, you're right!

When we were watching the parade SDCT at the MK, and it starting to rain hard, the Aladdin float was coming and people so stupid they wanted to get out of the rain and crossed the street and CM's had to hold them hard and yelled at them NO NO NO you can do that, some people did crossed but CM had to hold with 2 arms this one lady, she later told her if you trip th float can kill you!!
