Magic Kingdom on a Saturday?

I have always avoided Magic Kingdom on a Saturday, because of the locals all being off work as well as holidaymakers.....

We are visiting in September so the parks are quite empty in the week, but want to visit on a weekend this time to make the most of out time...

Am I being silly avoiding weekends at MK?

as long as you go early to avoid rush think there would be no problems

Go early, plan ahead and get Fastpasses for the main rides you want to go on, have an early lunch before the lunchtime rush and then either hop to another park or go back to your lodgings for a siesta/swim/rest etc.

Go early doors, do main rides with FP's do a few smaller attractions, leave MK and either go back to your hotel, go to another park or go shopping then come back in the evening if you are up to it.

Saturdays and Sundays in MK are always fun though!
