Magic Kingdom on 12/3

We are arriving on 12/3 to BLT.....we wanted to head directly to MK ...should get there around 10am or so. Since they are doing parade taping....should I change my plan or will the rides be affected? This is where we planned to "hang out" until our room is ready....by 4pm we will head to Epcot for dinner ressies. What are your thoughts?

Rides are not affected at all by parade taping, and the 3rd is not the big taping day anyway. Additionally, I understand from reports now that there are no free tickets being given away to the taping this year and the link that started floating around last week was intended for cast members only and anyone who signed up who is not a CM won't get anything...

Agree with PP. I was at MK this day last year and 2 years before that. There was taping at the Castle Forecourt so that area was "treed off" so you can easily walk down Main Street and enjoy the attractions.

The next day is generally taping of the parade route on Main Street so that area is a bit congested. But once you get through there, the rides are OK. However, Saturdays are generally busier at MK anyway, so you might find the lines a bit longer on this day.
