Magic Kingdom Midnight closures June 2015?

Just been looking at park hours for our June trip and it seems Magic Kingdom closes at midnight EVERY night in June? Is this correct??

Also the night we get there states closure at midnight plus EMH meaning MK would close at 2am?

Is there something special going on or is this normal?

I would have thought it was just a mistake but every website I've been on says the same thing

Were you expecting an earlier or later closing time? Last June, MK often closed at 1 am, with a 3 am closing on EMH nights. I hoping that they extend the hours past midnight at some point.

We've never been in June and the majority of times we've been it's closed around 10 or 11 so was expecting it to be somewhat similar. Just wanted to make sure this was the norm and not some kind of mistake before I got my hopes up lol thanks for the info

It's summer, and summer is super busy, so all the parks generally have longer operating hours, with the MK being the one open the latest. I think Epcot is the only park that has consistent hours throughout the year (9-9).

You can get a lot done at MK with the extended summer hours. Here's an example from last June, 8 pm - midnight on a non-EMH night with no FP+

Big Thunder 3x
Splash Mtn 2x
Space Mtn 2x
Mine Train (10 min wait right a closing time)
Pirates
Jungle Cruise
Haunted Mansion
Pooh
Peter Pan
Speedway
Barnstormer 2x

We also watched the parade and fireworks and had a couple of Dole Whips.

Thanks for posting.

I knew they would extend some hours during our trip, but I hadn't checked recently to see if they had updated them.

Last time I looked MK was closing at 10pm every night during our mid-June trip.

These results were from a Thursday evening in early June on a crowd level 8 day. It does get much busier later into the month.
