I planned this out a few months ago for my niece and I to have a special day together at the park of her choice (Magic Kingdom). It began as us having breakfast at Ohana at the Polynesian and dinner at Be Our Guest and then our FP+ are for Anna/Elsa, SDMT & Space Mountain. We have since changed our plans to Be our Guest for breakfast and Cinderella's Royal Table for a late lunch (I am still amazed I got that reservation) I have set up for them to bring her the Glass Slipper Dessert at CRT. We are celebrating her 14th birthday but was wondering what are some ideas to make the flow well and activities to do that won't bore her? We haven't done the Sorcers of the Magic Kingdom or the Pirate Adventure thing (not a clue what it's called, but she's asked me about both of those things) Last year when we spent the evening at MK, she didn't see the fireworks or the show on the castle and I thought that would be a GREAT way to end the day. We have an extra FP to use for each day we are at Disney, would it be worth using the FP on the fireworks? She's also very much into meeting the characters, so I know that will be through out the day.

Thanks!

I never use the FP for fireworks or shows. I always use for rides or characters. If she likes characters, I would use for this. I would leave room for spontaneity. Let her decide what she wants to do in the spur of the moment and let the day decide the flow. As long as you have "must do's" scheduled and use FP (which it seems you have done) I think she will have a great time. Maybe do a fun game (like rock, paper, scissors) to decide what to ride next or just do something you haven't done before (we try this each trip with our kids). Has she done harmony barber shop? My 14 daughter has asked about it before so maybe your niece will like it... Happy planning!

Kenny the Pirate has a great character locater app that I highly recommend. For those characters that don't meet continuously, if you get to the character location a few minutes before they come out you can really cut down on your waits.

Has she tried Disney Bounding? It's basically dressing in an outfit inspired by a character and it can really take the character interaction to a new level and looks great in pictures. My DD12 disney bounded as Piglet on our last trip and he was so excited! The princesses are pretty easy to disney bound as. (Ex. yellow skirt, blue top, red headband for Snow White)

I love the idea of Disney Bounding. My DD14 talks about doing it all the time but we haven't yet!
