So besides the popular rides, what should a teen do? MK is my 17-year old’s “least favorite park.” Never mind that she would have rode Dumbo all day when she was 2.

I was hoping that sorcerer’s card game was still around but looks like it isn’t. Is there anything else at MK that a teen might enjoy?

Would she be interested in a tour like Keys to the Kingdom? Spa treatment at the GF??

I don't know, I loved Pirates and HM at that age, so I'm a bad person to ask.

But it's also my least favorite park.....I have a love/hate relationship with it. I love the nostalgia, but I find it to be the most overwhelming to navigate because fantasyland is stroller central and before I had kids, I only went in the early part of the day or the afternoon/evening.

When's the last time she went?

My teen girls love Tron, Space Mtn, Pirates (think this is just pure nostalgia though), getting Dole whips and eating them in the Tiki room show, Big Thunder Mtn, and used to love Splash so looking forward to Tiana's! They still like People Mover a lot I think more for a break than anything.

Skipper Canteen is the only sit dow place they really like anymore, and going to get cheeseburger spring rolls at the Adventureland entrance cart.

My kids (21 and 17) love: Space Mountain, Monster's Inc., Tron, Peoplemover, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Tiana's Bayou Adventure (haven't ridden it yet but Splash was a favorite), Pirates, Pooh, Peter Pan, 7 Dwarves, Haunted Mansion...The older they get, the more nostalgic they get.

Maybe she'd enjoy an After Hours event? Staying in MK until 12:30am or so? She could also do a monorail crawl if she gets bored at MK - visit each resort on the monorail for a food/walk around and explore?

I do think seeing MK at night is something else to behold, so I second the AH events if they're available.

She can enjoy the family time and memories that will be appreciated later in life.

Back to reality, with my disinterested teens, once they get there and start going around the park they are fine. It is getting them there when they "protest."

One thing that has helped me is making a dining reservation somewhere, or perhaps you could make a lightning lane reservation.

Having a reason to be somewhere at a certain time helps to get my teens moving. Overcoming the inertia of doing nothing.

Also, my teens like to sleep in and stay out late, so building a trip avoiding rope drop is a good strategy. Maybe you won't do as much, but you can always do rope drop in a few years when she brings your grandchildren.

This is a good idea -- it would break up the day so that she doesn't feel like she is in the park all day.

If she liked the Sorcerers game, there is another (somewhat smaller, but still fun) scavenger hunt game in Adventureland! It's called "A Pirates Adventure- Treasure of the Seven Seas", you pick up a treasure map and start the hunt at a tiny little building on the pathway between Adventureland and Frontierland. There are a few different adventures that have you searching around Adventureland and triggering fun interactive things in the environment similar to Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom/the various World Showcase adventures.

Our young adult kids liked Tron, Tiana's, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, BTMRR, 7DMT, & surprisedly Winnie the Pooh because they made funny jokes on it. We broke the day in half. MK morning - Lunch at Whispering Canyon Cafe - MK evening. Lots of teens and young adults having fun at Whispering Canyon Cafe.

Maybe ask what your specific teen would like to do there. If she still thinks it's lame or w/e she can't complain that you didn't ask.
