Magic Kingdom Flag Retreat

Last June we went to disney and my husband was the veteran of the day he was in army reserves for 21 years and the last year he got sent to Afghanastan, so seeing him do this was very touching. Our youngest daughter works at magic kingdom so she had arranged it before hand and she had not told her dad he was very suprised. Alot of the cast memebers she works with on main street made a special point of coming out to see it and they all told him thank you when they saw us thru out the week when they saw him. We try to see it when ever we are at Magic Kingdom.

I have been to WDW 3 times now, but did not know about the flag retreat. I will definately make a point to see it this year. I am a 18+ year Army guy that still gets teary eyed when the National Anthem is played. Thanks for the posts.
