Wow. Im speechless right now.
Do know PP was confused about what they watched. It was not the replacement for Wishes.
Ah, it was interesting that they didn't realize what they watched was not fireworks show. That is was a projection show. I guess Disney isn't doing a good job of describing what is on their schedule? Truthfully, we know the parks and what we want to do so well we haven't looked at a map or times guide in years. I don't know what they put on themOh I know. I was speechless that that was posted. Even changed their reservation because of it.

If you read through you'll see that they've been testing Happily Ever After after hours and it's still heavy on fireworks.I've seen that show missing from the MDE app schedule a lot. I've been surprised by it running both before and after the fireworks more than a couple times. Also jingle bam wasn't that much more fireworks and lately starwars is getting thinner and thinner to the point I can't call it my favorite fireworks show anymore. It's a couple bursts here and there with a not as large as jingle bam had it finale these days.....
I don't have much hope for this new MK show. I think things like projections on the back and maybe finding a way to do some of it elsewhere in the park to offer relief from how packed the hub which now has more trees than ever blocking the view of hte castle for projections is even worse...
I have seen the new show. I do not call it a fireworks show. It is a projection show with some lasers and a couple of spurts of fireworks. Think of an extended version of the Jingle Bam show. It is about cost cutting and is very disappointing.
Just curious - how do you see the new show before it's out? Do they have previews?

Well, on the converse I'm not going to assume it's going to be bad or loose hope just yet either. I'll reserve my judgement for what I see for myselfJingle bam started the same way, I could see it from my house on their tests and what was the actual show we got didn't match.. Tom Vazzana, who directed jingle flop, gave a talk during destination d where he described those tests as trying different things out, stumbling on a few "we didn't know it would look like that". I would not go by what people saw in early testing as an indication that it's still fireworks heavy.

To some degree but Star Wars is still way better than Jingle Bam was.I never saw Jingle Bam, but from what you describe it sounds more like the Star Wars show at Hollywood Studios. Is that an accurate comparison?

Well, Wishes doesn't go off about 1am, though!if you are saying what you heard from your house last night, that was still Wishes. Last day of Wishes is May 11th (next Thursday) or was it after park closing and you heard testing of the new show?

true, but you didn't specify the time in your post which is why I wasn't sureWell, Wishes doesn't go off about 1am, though!![]()
I'm wondering if a Cali Grille late dinner reservation will be worth it if it's more projection than fireworks. I'll be interested to see what folks have to say after viewing the new show.
