I recently read a book I loved about the possible future of the Magic Kingdom and society. It is called "Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom" by Corey Doctorow. I posted about it in another thread, which made me think of this one. If anyone has read some great fiction centered around WDW or any part of WDW, please let me know- I would love to find another good WDW read.

theres a book out there that I think is written for teens (kind of how harry potter was written for teens but adults love it too) about getting trapped in the magic kingdom. I'm trying like crazy to find the name of it for you. I'll keep looking and post when I do

Kingdom Keepers! My DD and I really enjoyed it.

I think I will need to check out "Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom". That sounds interesting.

It's called Kingdom Keepers by Ridley Pearson ziggy.

I LOVED it. It's really great. And the sequel should be out sometime this year (I'm a children's librarian BTW :teeth:)

There is also a "true life" Carol Marsh mystery at Disney World. I think it's horrible but it's on the school's AR list :sad2:

:teacher: AR list?

I will have to check out Kingdom Keepers- Is it a mystery, fantasy or something else?

AR stands for Accelerated Reading, each student is required to set and reach a goal for reading books throughout the school year.

The Magic Kingdom by Stanley Elkin. Be sure to read reviews of the book, though, as it's not everyone's cup of tea. I loved it.

Disneyland Hostage by Eric Wilson is a tweener mystery novel.

Not about Disney, but good: Leaving Disneyland by Alexander Parsons

It's fantasy/mystery. Very good. You can go look at reviews on Amazon if you want to know details, but if you love disney () then you can probably read it and love it

Thank You!! Sorry for the jargon!
It's Ridley Pearson, not Scott. Didn't want people going bananas trying to track it down.

I edited my post! Thank You! Bad librarian!! :sad2:
