7 days until our trip!

One thing I am trying to fit in is the afternoon parade at Magic Kingdom. Our first full day is a Magic Kingdom day, but we have the fireworks dessert party booked so I will want/need to give my 3 year old a nap to make sure he can enjoy that. This makes the 3pm parade tough.

If we don't get to see it on that day, I was thinking of taking him on our free day, just for the parade. If you were going to Magic Kingdom just for the 3PM parade, what time would you arrive and where would you go? We will leave right after to go to dinner at TRex at 5:00PM.

My normal parade strategy would be Frontier Land, but I've never arrived just for the parade before.

Thanks!

Well, Frontierland is a great place to watch from, however if you plan to leave right after, you will be stuck behind the parade trying to exit. You can get out, but you will have to go around the hub to the East side of Main Street, plus the sidewalks on Main Street will be crowded. So, in your case, I would arrive and try to get a spot in the Town Square, or up in the train station if you want an elevated view. That way you can leave right after and not have to fight the mess.

We had success (In November) getting a good spot at the base of the train station steps. Either side. Once you park yourself there it's virtually impossible for someone to push in front of you. I think we got there around 20 minutes early.

Oh, this would be perfect, thanks!
