Magic Journeys

If I am remembering correctly it was a 3D movie at MK. It was where Mickey's Philharmonic (The Lion King, before that) is now. I think there was a Chip n' Dale preshow.

I don't remember much of the story, but there were kids and, I think, I remember them being in a field of flowers at one point.

"Magic Journeys" was the orignal, magical film which premiered at Epcot's Journey Into Imagination when the park first opened. It was a fantastic film about a group of kids exploring their imagination. The beginning featured spring tree blossoms. At one point, the boy took a dandelion and blew the seeds in the audience. It had no special effects other than the 3D images. It was a fantastic film with a memorable soundtrack. In fact, the "Magic Journeys" song was featured as background music in FW quite a while after the film had found its way to the MK. The above poster is correct. But, to me, it's rightful place will always be JIY, preceded of course by a ride on the orignal JIY with Figment AND Dreamfinder.

I think the "Magic Journeys" song is on the 1991 Official Album.

...and the song is a Sherman Bros. composition (I think???)
