Magic in a Winter Wonder World with 1,648 pictures

:sad1:We're home. :guilty::sad1::sad1:
Now off to Walmart. Horray. I won't be seeing Disney busses, monorail tracks, mickey shaped signs, or fun disney merchandise going there and back.:sad1:

Yeah, from the monorail in one post to Walmart in the next is kind of a downgrade. :rotfl:

I know you are glad to see your girls. I look forward to hearing about your fun!

OH! Barbara!! I'm so stinkin jealous!! I hope you have a wonderful, wonderful time with hubby making some fun couples memories!

I wouldn't worry about no park day on Sat.- you have 2 more trips planned already. The decorations will be fun to see and you've got some fabulous plans for meals.

ENJOY!!!!!
We had a great time. I think the green eyed monster will be coming to my house in September. :goodvibes
Just stopping by to wish you a wonderful rest of the week! :cool1:

I'm so excited for you that you decided to make it a couples trip! :goodvibes Enjoy your time together!
Thanks! We had so much fun.
Hanging out, resort hopping, eating, strolling, shopping...I could make it without going into a park for several days, too. Right now, though, I'd have to go to Epcot for some Flower & Garden browsing. Have a great day! I'm sure you will. :)
We didn't do any Disney theme parks this trip. More on that tomorrow.
:yay: for winning regionals! I hope you and Mitch had a great time on your trip. Looking forward to hearing how it goes. Popcorn is a favorite snack of our family! I wonder if they have special buckets for MNSSHP nights...hmmm :scratchin: I may have to see about that.

How exciting for you to be at Disney right now! I hope you are enjoying your trip! :goodvibes:

Is the scrapbook store still open in DTD? Someone said it had closed so I am curious to know where and what scrapbook supplies you got since I am scrapper too!
I was so proud and the girls were thrilled. They have Halloween popcorn buckets but not special MNSSHP ones. We love popcorn too. I just hate the smell of it hours after you make it.

Tell me about it. I would of much rather liked Walmart then the monorail.
I was glad to see them. It seemed like Emily grew 6 inches in the 5 days we were gone. When we picked them up at my mom's house we were welcomed with a welcome home cake that they made. I'll talk all about the trip tomorrow.:goodvibes

I"m sure it might be Barbara!! 12 whole days at my Happy Place- :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Welcome home, though! I'm sure you've got a lot to report!

Glad you're home safe and sound, but that is kind-of a downer, having to head right back into real life (translate---WALMART). :)

Can't wait to hear about all your fun. :thumbsup2

Thanks Liesa.:goodvibes
I do have lots to share. I decided to finish the Nov TR (taking forever) and then start a PTR for the summer trip and do a mini TR in it.

Thanks.
I feel like I live at Walmart. I'll ask the kids and Mitch if they need anything and they'll say no. 3 hours later "Mommy, I need Nutri-gran bars" "Mommy, we're out of sandwich sized bags.":headache:

I decided to finish this TR (Sorry I'm dragging it out.) and then start a PTR for the summer trip. In the PTR I'll do a mini TR for this trip and a mini TR probably for Islands of Adventure in the end of this month.
Some spoilers about the April trip.
For starters, we didn't have one second of rain! That deserves a few of these guys.:cool1::cool1:
We had an amazing view.
We did a ton of relaxing.
We spent 2 days at Sea World. We haven't been there in 10 years!! I got a ticket that is good until the end of this year. Mitch got the AP because you get free parking, discounts on the girls' tickets, food discounts, etc.
We had an egg salad that did NOT agree with us.
2 very important things were left behind.

Where I left off we were on the 4 park day. We were in Epcot and just got of SSE.

Our next stop was to go visit our purple friend, one last time.

Once we got off, Mitch wanted to do the picture thing where you email pictures but most of the screens were broken.

A CM was doing a demonstration here

and needed girl to volunteer. No one was really in the area so volunteers were scarce. Amy was very interested and expressed her interest to the CM. Still, the CM went off and fished up a girl Amy's age to be the volunteer. O.K.
After that we left. Oh wait, not so fast. On the way out I found 5$ crumbled up on the floor.
Back outside it was still overcast but the rain had stopped.

The girls wanted pictures with the sign for Soarin.'

In May we rode in the front of this monorail. I kept seeing make its circle through Epcot on this day.

[SIZE="3"]See the disgusting overcast!?!?

Our next stop was
DSC01843.jpg

The girls did another do-it-yourself.
DSC01844.jpg

I didn't even try for pictures. I just enjoyed my last visit on Nemo.
MeMom, scroll past this picture fast!
DSC01845.jpg

Nemo was the only thing we did in the seas.
DSC01846.jpg

After Nemo we were going to go to MK to finish off the night. Amy is always finding money everywhere we go. One time she even found 40$. Disney is no exception. When we were in Epcot I kept looking at my watch because I wanted to make sure we had a lot of time in MK. We were walking past the sign for SSE and Amy finds A FP ticket on the floor flipped over not revealing the time. It had rained all day so it was soaking wet. She picked it up and it was a ride-swap for any time for Soarin' good for up to 6 people!!
The girls really wanted to ride. The ticket was very soggy so I doubted the CM would take it but we decided to try. So, we marched to the Land. We went to the FP return line and were instructed to go to the desk next door. The CMs got a huge laugh out of our soggy RS. The CM gave us 4 dry FPs to use now and jokingly said "You can have these but you're not getting back they wet, soggy ones." It was too funny. We handed the CM our dry FPs and pretty soon we were Soarin'. I remember waiting pretty long since only one 'gate' was open. The night before Thanksgiving? O.K.
We were told to go to row 3 but we asked the CM of we could wait for the first row and he said o.k. We had to wait a few extra minutes but to me it is worth it. We were glad to get in one last Soar.
Leaving Epcot for real this time.

Thanks Katie!
Disney doesn't just go half way with something, that's for sure. You got a nice peek at the decorations in January and now you can see the activities in December.:goodvibes

I did Marching Band when I was in high school and loved it. Emily is going into high school this fall and was interested in doing MB and I was very excited. So, tonight was the "Ice Breaker." It's where you go and find out about it and meet the people. So we went just the two of us. On the way Emily told me she made the school Volleyball team! When we came inside they had "You've got a friend in me" playing, and I immediately thought this couldn't be too bad. It was a lot of fun meeting the parents and everybody. Everyone is like one big family. Emily immediately fit in with the flutes and piccolos with her bubbly personality. The Band Director heard her play the piccolo and said she could do it next year! On the way out the parking lot was pitch black and the sky kept lighting up. It felt like Illuminations! It wasn't raining (well, it's pouring an hour later.) but it was lightning so bad!! It was really scary! Emily said "We're going to join the Tower of Terror!" That comment cracked me up.
Busy plans for the rest of this week. Emily singing in Talent show tomorrow. One girl has a friend coming over on Friday, the other is going home with one. Saturday is Amy's dance recital and both girls' award night at the pizza parlor for softball. Sunday is Mother's day. I bet tomorrow one of the girls will come home from school with a Publix M day cake with the sprinkles I'm allergic to that they sprayed all over. It happens every year, but it's the thought that counts, right? Mitch will make us a big breakfast buffet, I'm hoping, like last year. We'll hit up the mall and Disney store during the day and at night my mom and grandmother are coming over for a barbecue.
So that's everything. Right now, I'm thinking of how I just finished Watching Illuminations exactly one week ago and how now I'm watching the sky's attempt at it.

Can't wait to read your PTR and your mini-TR
