Magic for less transferability???

We have a small (for us it is small) trip planned in May for 8 days. We purchased the 7 day magic for less package because they don't offer an 8 day pass. We figured we would just play around the resort and go skiing or boating on one of the eight days even though we'd really like to be in the parks. Now my in-laws have decided to come and they will only be there for 5 days but bought an 8 day pass. So now to my question, can we uses the extra two days off of their tickets after they leave?

No because it will have their scan "attached" to the ticket.
