HI EVERYONE!!!

I just switched from a Dream cruise this week to a Magic cruise because of the great dry-dock enhancements!

My family is

Me - 42 yo
Iron Man - 44 yo
(DS) Hawkeye - 11 yo
(DD) Black Widow - 9

Come along for the ride!

We are very experienced cruisers (my kids are Gold CC Members!) And love Fish Extender Exchanges!

We are saying HI, This will be our first cruise, and we will be going straight to Disney when we get off the boat for the Princess Half Marathon weekend. Some very good friends of ours will be traviling with us. I am so excited, I can't wait.

We do not have children of our own, but the other family traviling with us will have a 12 year old girl with them. They are seasoned cruisers. I think this will be there 6th cruise.
Wayne figured out last night he can have coffee delivered to our cabin every morning. LOL

And I hear that if you have it delivered at night, it will still be hot in the morning for when you get up - that way you don't have to worry about setting a time for arrival and you may not be awake yet!

I am always up early as one of those really strange people who can't sleep late on vacation, so I go and get coffee and bring it back to our cabin to have out on the verandah.

My son will be 11, almost 12 on the cruise.

Hello fellow cruisers! Dave and I will be onboard this sailing...our second Disney cruise. We previously went to Alaska on the Wonder in 2011. We will be celebrating my 50th birthday on this cruise! (Although my actual birthday will be 3 days before we sail). No kids for us...we're just two big kids who love Disney!

I am changing positions and jobs at work, I have not been promised I can keep my same vacation tme. So lets pray and keep our fingures crossed I don't have to change our cruise. I am very worried about it but excited about the new job.

So hello everyone once again, I am castlegazer! (now I can say formerly Fantasiesabound!)

It's like a favorite pair of jeans, your user name! It felt so wrong having lost it due to me not being able to get back in to the log in! Yay!!! It's silly, but its been bugging me for so long that I wasn't "me"!

I don't have recent photos shared, but know my kids are much bigger now and completely adorable! You will notice us everywhere, especially on a smaller ship as the Magic, because my daughter has this completely jaw dropping platinum blond hair now:

I'm really surprised that there aren't more people on this thread...that week is February vacation week in the schools up here. I would expect it to be a quite popular cruise!

I am shocked also!

My air fare has gone up three fold since I booked it the minute it was published! Many many people are obviously vacationing that week and I have always shied away from it because it's more popular than April vacation usually, but this cruise doesn't seem to be the one that's being booked.

I just saw this link over on the main board for cruisefish which gives the percentage of cabins sold on cruises and this cruise is very low.

Me, too, castlegazer! I booked airfare on Southwest as soon as the dates came out and I am SOOO glad I did. Now the rates are three times what I paid! Same with the Hyatt at MCO.

well we will be enjoying a beautiful new ship by ourselves then!!!

I just found out we got tickets for Kennedy Space Center from our Congressman for the day we disembark! I was originally planning to go over to WDW, but now we will just stay at the beach! I am very excited! I have been many times previously, but my kids haven't been in years. It will be cool for them.

oh and by the way, I was thinking our sail date maybe wasn't very full, but according to Cruisefish, we are at 70% occupancy in most categories. Some rates are lower for sailing, but concierge has gone up significantly.
