I travelled to Disney with dd 17 and ds 11 from January 30-February 9/06. I had booked a limo for transport to resort from MCO, but heard some bad reports about them just before we went. Three days before our trip I phoned to ask if Magic Express would be available, and it was, I booked it and cancelled the limo.
I just wanted to say that Magic Express really made my travel more enjoyable. Without DH there to haul the heavy suitcases, I was worried about getting through the airport with the kids (I know they are not small, but they always depend on me).
Upon arrival at MCO I met a lovely man, with a magic express sign, on the baggage pick up level. Started to fire questions at him, about our bags and picking them up (since I wasn't with a participating airline), what to do, what to do...the poor man couldn't get a word in edgewise. When I finally took a breath, this lovely gentleman said "That's what I'm trying to tell you. We'll pick up your bags for you." Just check in at the desk, show them your luggage tags, and we'll pick up your bags. "Surely you jest" I say, "it can't be that simple." "Trust me, he says."
Well, we checked in, gave copies of our bag tags to the desk, identified our type of luggage on the brochure they showed us (we were reassured that our bags would follow), and got on the bus. A nice clean bus, with vintage disney cartoons playing on the tv. We were dropped off at CSR and checked in. Again we were reassured that our bags would be delivered, we went off to the Boardwalk for dinner at ESPN. (I had a suspicious feeling this would not bode well for us) When we returned about three hours later, voila, our bags were in our room.
Return trip just as happy.
Amazing service, friendly (and patient) employees, how do they do it?
This was meant for the transportation board, sorry, I'm not that good at computer stuff.
