Magic Express one way?

We didn't intend to use the Magical Express on our trip (we do have the MYW pkg) from 9/29-10/4. I wanted to use Tiffany Town Car as we usually do in order to get the great service we've always gotten plus the grocery store stop on the way... now I'm wondering about the trip back to the airport-I might consider the Magical Express back. Anyone have anything negative about it? Does it cost anything extra on your package or is it included? Can you do just the one way?

Yes, you can use DME one-way..I've done it myself. But, I was told that you still have to make a reservation. So call and have it added to your reservation. The only issue anyone seems to have with DME on the return is the almost 3 hrs before flight departure time that they pick you up at. Some feel that the 2- 2 1/2 hrs before flight time that the towncars pick up at is sufficient. But, with the longer security lines, I would rather get there too early.
I have used DME and then put in a grocery order with one of the grocery delivery services...got exactly the things I wanted delivered to my resort. Yes, there is usually a delivery fee but it's much less than a towncar price, and I don't have to take the time to go into a grocery store. Just a thought.

And just to clarify for others reading this thread, you don't need to book any sort of package to get DME, which is free.

To use DME, you have to be flying into and/or out of MCO (depending on which way you're taking the bus, and for almost all of us it's BOTH ways), and be a registered guest at a WDW owned-and-operated resort.

Yes, last December we used DME back to the airport.

We had been cruising on the Wonder and rented a van to get around.

DME back to the airport was good. We had to leave a bit earlier, but we were ready anyway. that last day is always so depressing anyway.

We did have to book this with the resort before our arrival.
