Magic Express - Luggage Tag Ship Dates?

Our magic bands have three more days for us to customize them before they lock out. We have not booked out flights yet so we have not linked that information. If we don't book our flights until next weekend, will they still ship out our luggage tags with our magic bands? If not how will we get the luggage tags?

Your ME tags will ship out once you add your flight information. They don't have to ship them at the same time as the Magic Bands.

We've made a couple last minute trips and I think I remember the ME folks telling me that they need the information at least 10 days out. I know we've done 12 and 13 days out and got them in time both trips.

If by some chance they don't come in time no worries. Just give your baggage claim tickets to the ME CM and they will find your bags. We've had to do that a couple times with no problem.

You won't get any notification when your DME stuff is shipped. But you will see that your MBs have shipped...not via a notification but in the MB section of MDE.

Last week I called to add my flight info for DME for my April trip, and the CM I talked to said I should have my DME packet/tags about 30 days before the trip. I'm thinking it has usually been around then in past years, although I could almost swear I got them earlier than that last year.

Thanks. I guess I need to call them because American changed our flight number and time. I've never flown American before, always Southwest of possible, not loving the experience so far.

I called last week to add in a ME reservation, our trip is in about 3.5 weeks. The CM said she would ship our luggage tags right away. I know I was under 30 days, but it was an easy call. They basically confirmed our names/ account and asked for our Airline & flight numbers.

Ours just arrived last week, so about 3 weeks out from our trip. MBs arrived at 4 weeks out.
