I don't find the map particularly helpful. I know I have a poor sense of direction, but there's no reason to be condescending.

Thanks again, this is very helpful. I just don't want to be fumbling around trying to figure it out with kids in tow. Now I at least have some idea of which way to head!

I still don't get it, the map in the package seems very clear to me? no different then the maps from the buffalo airport site?

I do 'kinda' get it when it comes to that map. Yes, it is pretty clear. But, it's clear to me now that I know my way around MCO. On my first few trips, it wasn't so easy. I think we have to remember that sometimes people get frazzaled...you have kids in tow, you're nervous in a strange place, you don't want to look like an idiot, you don't want to get lost with those kids in tow and the bags hanging off you. Looking at the map is vastly different than standing there, in the center of the main terminal area, trying to figure out exactly what you're supposed to be doing.
That's one of the reasons these boards exist...trying to help out those who may not be quite as conversant as we are. I well remember my first experiences at MCO, and am very happy to help someone else avoid my mistakes!! In fact, it was only a few years ago that I got all turned around in there...took me a bit to get my bearings. I can only imagine how I would have felt if I 'had' to be someplace...rather than just poke around, trying to get my bearings.

Since I'm not picking up luggage (yeah DME ), I just follow the overhead signs for Terminal B and then "Ground Transportation". Works like a charm.

A small hint:

If you exited security into the Hyatt Hotel cavernous atrium (both A and B gates 60 and up), the DME area is at the other end if you go down to the lowest level first. If you had Superman's X-ray vision, coming out of security you would look slightly left and slightly down to see it in the distance.

If you exited security into the shopping area (both A and B low gate numbers), the ME area is very near you as you get down to the lowest level. Superman would look all the way to his right and also diagonally down.
