Magic Express for Partial Stay?

My BIL just decided to join us for our first two days of our trip. We have 3 rooms already booked and paid for and he's just going to get 2 half day tickets. We're taking the Magic Express to CBR.

I asked my TA if we should add him to our hotel reservation and she said no, just buy his park tickets separately. But then will he be allowed on the Magic Express with us?

No. You have to be a WDW guest to take ME. They scan your magic band or check your reservation for the number of guests in your party. Do you have a package booked? If you have a package, it makes it harder as he would need the same ticket & dining that you have. So that wouldn’t work for you. If you don’t have a package, no reason not to add him.

Another thing to keep in mind is that if you are caught with an unregistered guest, you will be asked to leave the hotel

Ok so the one caveat to this is that you are charged an extra fee per night if more than two adults are in the room. So add him to her reservation now so he can take the bus, but when you get to the resort make sure they know he will only be there x number of days so they don’t charge you the added adult fee for the whole trip. The front desk should also be able to help get him on a magical express bus for the day he leaves the resort as well once they know he is leaving a different day than the others.

Just a possible problem, your sister's room only reservation can add him as,an additional adult with an additional fee. But not if by adding him goes,above the maxi mum per room occupancy. Standard rooms allow for 4 people only.
