I was just wondering how easy it is to get from the arrivals gates to the area where the magic express wait/departure area is. It's been a few years since I've been to MCO and would like some idea of where to go.
We leave in 13 days and getting very excited!

I know you have to go on a mono-rail and go down a flight of steps. But I can't remember exactly the details.

I am going to move you over to the transportation board. They will know.

Your memory is correct as far as it goes. From the gate where your plane arrives, you'll need to walk to the monorail boarding area and take the train to the main terminal. You'll be on level 3 and the ME Welcome Center is on the level 1 of Terminal 'B,' so if your gate is in Terminal B you just need to go down the stairs, escalator or elevator two levels to check in. From the desk, the buses are just a few steps away. If you come in at Terminal 'A,' however, you'll need to cross over to Terminal 'B' on the main level, then go down to the lower level to the DME Welcome Center.

Here's a link to a map of MCO.

Your info packet from DME gives pretty good directions also. They have a map of the airport in there as well.
It's pretty easy...get on the tram from the gate area to the main terminal. You are on Level 3 at this point. Some flights will arrive on Side A, while others will arrive on Side B. DME is on Side B, so if you arrive on Side A, you will need to cross through the middle area. Then, the stairs/escalator will take you to Level 2, baggage claim. Continue on down to Level 1...rental car companies and other ground transportation. DME is way at the end, to the right. You will see groups of people as you get closer to that area.

After you get off the monorail, it's a short walk to exit the secure area and come out into the open. Now immediately look to one side or the other to find the big neon B not that high up on the side wall. (On the opposite side is the neon A.)

It's usually easiest to head immediately to the escalators down at this time.

If you came into the cavernous hotel lobby, once down at Level 1 (side B), you will have to go all the way down the corridor past all the rental car counters. If you choose to walk outside along Level 1, the Magical Express area is back inside about in line with parking space no. 45.
