Magic Express After Checked Out

Greetings!
For our next trip to WDW, my wife wants to do a little last minute shopping at Disney Springs
after check-out; then return to the resort for the Magic Express ride to the airport.
Is it possible to catch the Magic Express after checkout?

Yes. Depending on when your flight is. For example if your flight home is not till 10:00 p.m you will not catch the bus till 7:00 p.m Your Express pick up will be 3 hours before your flight. Tell her to allow 1 hr and 30 minutes to get back to the resort.

If your pick up time is say 3:00, they want you at the bus stop 15 minutes before your pick up time so you want to be at the resort by 2;15 so you have time to collect your carry on luggage from bell services. Pack way what she has bought and be ready for the bus.

Yes as long as your flight /DME reservation is on your check out day! You are considered a WDW Resort guest until midnight of check out day.

You will need to check-out of your room by 11am, but your DME pick-up time will be 3 hours before your flight time regardless of the check-out time. You will need to return to your resort in order to catch DME.

Also you can leave any bags you are not checking with Bell Services, just allow enough time to get them before your bus.

Just a little FYI. Our DME pick up last week was scheduled for 3 hours and 40 minutes before flight time. Not an international flight either....SW going to BUF. The security line that morning was the longest I've ever seen. We waited approx. 35 minutes....from when I started timing it we waited 20 minutes but had been there a while already. I think the alert level must have been raised due to recent events.
