We have Never been away for Christmas so this will be our 1st time if we still decide to keep this cruise.. It's too soon to know if we will.. We are keeping this trip booked for now since we do have over a year to decide..

Hi Stacy,
First let me extend my most sincere sympathy on the loss of your son. As the parent of an only child, I can only imagine the heartache you and your husband must be feeling. Please know, evey though we've never met, you are often in my thoughts and prayers.
Now, sit back, relax, and enjoy your dinner . . .

Wow! Thanks for sharing. I have the menu from Christmas 2007. Main courses look the same, appetizers, soups and salads look different.

Any time. We had so much fun on that cruise -- at least DH and I did. DD was in a walking boot and was pretty unhappy. I can't wait for Christmas 2010!
Did the group on Facebook ever make? If so I would like to be added. TIA!

Greetings all.

Here is the group page on Facebook.
Disney Magic Cruise - December 18 - 29, 2010

This is a closed group, so you have to ask to join. I think this is the best way of keeping information private. If you do send a request, please PM either dreamsoftravel or me, so we can match you to the disboards. We will do our best to make sure only folks going on the cruise are added to the group.

I am trying to figure out how to put the information from the spreadsheet into a readable format in the group. Right now, I only have our real names and kids.

If anyone has experience with Facebook groups or any other ideas for the group, please let me know.

Hello everyone! Just checking in. I have not posted in a while, but I have been lurking. We are going on a cruise in October so I have been consumed with that right now. Got to book excurions last night (well, this morning at 12:01) . With the new site I was nervous how it would work, but it was easy and we go everything we wanted!

Happy Sunday to everyone!

Sorry, I did see this but haven't had the right mind set to sit and respond to the posts.. I just can't seem to concentrate but it is getting a little better..

Thank You so very much for the Prayers and Thoughts I really do appreciate them.. And the Menu looks Very Yummy..

So far DH says we will be on this cruise.. We are not making any rash decisions especially when we have a year and a half to go..

Hey everyone! Well, we have decided to switch our cruise date to Christmas 2009! Just couldn't pass up the awesome cat 12 rates that recently came out for this year. I would still love to go on this cruise, maybe I will re-book it onboard and hope we have a good year in 2010 and can afford it! I hope you all enjoy this sailing, it looks like it's going to be great :)

And Stacy, I keep thinking about you and hoping you are doing okay. I am the mom of any only child as well so I can only imagine what you are going through.

I'm ready to sale today! How am I going to make it until Christmas 2010?
I do have several trips to WDW planned. Maybe that will help.

Since our final payment is due a year from today, I decided that it was time to explore the Dis boards. Unfortunately, I have not read the entire thread yet, but I plan to soon. I have plenty of time since the cruise is over a year away.

My family and I were originally planning to cruise the Baltic next summer, but we decided that this Christmas cruise is a better fit for our family's vacation needs. We have spent Christmas at Disneyland's Grand California, and that was very magical. I can only imagine how magical it will be spending Christmas on a Disney cruise.

The following are my family members who will spend the merriest time of year with Mickey on the Magic: Mike, DH (a police officer); Raven, DD (15), my parents, Joe & Cheryl, my sister, Cheryl, and Scott. Of course, there is me, Lisa ( a middle school assistant principal).

Welcome, Lisa and family! Is Raven 15 now, or when we cruise? I have a 15 year old now, who will be 17 on the cruise.
